A big thank you to all who came out and helped finish the 300 yard berm on Saturday. The 300 yard target boards were installed and are now ready to use. Remember, the rifle range and silhouette range are treated as one. Make sure you coordinate with everyone else before going down range to place targets. We have installed alarm lights and buzzer to make it easier to notify people on the silhouette range of your intentions. If the lights and buzzer go off on the rifle range check with the people on silhouette range before shooting and as always, if you see the red flag flying then it means that someone is working down range.

What is an "NRA Approved" match?
Mar 28, 2007 by RCase | 1 CommentIf you wish, the NRA will maintain a history of your shooting scores. These scores allow you to better judge your progress as a shooter and are useful if you plan on shooting at the regional / state / national levels.
To report these scores to the NRA, you must have either an "Approved" or a "Sanctioned" match. This means that you must follow certain rules that the NRA sets for the operation of matches and all competitors must fire a designated "course of fire".
At all "NRA Approved" matches, the following course of fire will be used:
Stage #1
Standing - Slow Fire - 10 Rounds - 200 Yards - SR Target
Stage #2
Standing to Kneeling - Slow Fire - 10 Rounds - 200 Yards - SR Target
Stage #3
Standing to Prone - Rapid Fire - 10 Rounds - 300 Yards - SR3 Target
Stage #4
Prone - Slow Fire - 20 Rounds - 300 Yards - MR63 Target
